4 in 1 press tool for Brose C, T, S and S-Mag

This is a solid stainless steel press tool designed to complete 4 of the more awkward press jobs that are encountered when overhauling a Brose motor.
1, Remove the right hand crankshaft bearing from the torque sensor.
2, Machined to be an exact fit to remove the drive pulley sprag bearing and race.
3, Used to set the exact depth of the crankshaft needle roller bearing once the extra seal has been fitted.
4, Machined to set the right hand crankshaft bearing at the exact depth on the torque sensor.

This tool is designed to align the drive gear and set the bearing sprags to allow the gear to be re-fitted onto the freewheel sleeve of the Bosch Gen 4 motor.

This bearing race will fit Brose C, T, TF, S & S-Mag 2.1 & 2.2.

The large drive belt pulley contains a one way sprag clutch bearing and its race. This can become worn or damaged by rust, bearing failure etc. It can also be damaged while trying to remove the bearing itself.

The sprag clutch bearing MUST have a smooth, clean surface and the correct grease or the bearing will fail.

Early Brose C, T, TF motors had no seal covering the right hand crankshaft bearing. This seal is extremely effective at stopping water and dirt entering the bearing and ultimately the motor.

This is also a direct replacement if your Brose S or S-Mag seal is missing, worn or damaged. (For 1.2, 1.3, 2.1 and 2.2 motors)

Once the seal has been fitted over the sprocket carrier it will be pushed down when the chainring spider is re-fitted.

This high quality laser cut gasket will fit Brose S-Mag 2.1 & 2.2 and fits between the motor and the drive belt cover.
