Early Brose C, T, TF motors had no seal covering the right hand crankshaft bearing. This seal is extremely effective at stopping water and dirt entering the bearing and ultimately the motor.

This is also a direct replacement if your Brose S or S-Mag seal is missing, worn or damaged. (For 1.2, 1.3, 2.1 and 2.2 motors)

Once the seal has been fitted over the sprocket carrier it will be pushed down when the chainring spider is re-fitted.

This high quality laser cut gasket will fit Brose S-Mag 2.1 & 2.2 and fits between the motor and the drive belt cover.

These high density, sticky backed foam pads are fitted to the Bosch Gen 2 motor to cushion between the motor and frame this can stop the motor creaking as it flexes against the frame mount.

This kit contains a stainless steel shield washer and a thinner 1.5mm circlip to replace the original 2mm clip.

The left hand crankshaft bearing should be covered with Bosch Long Life “Tacky” Grease then the shield washer placed over the outer bearing seal. The grease should be checked from time to time, depending on your riding terrain, bike cleaning habits, weather conditions etc.

If you are overhauling any Bosch Gen 2 motor, this kit contains every circlip used in the motor. These should be replaced to ensure good clip integrity.

BEARING PROTECTION RING SERVICE KIT FOR Gen 4 (BDU4XX) MOTORS

This is a durable double lip seal, specifically manufactured to fit the Bosch crankshaft. An effective waterproof barrier for the Bosch right-hand crankshaft bearing.

If fitted with the MudStop bearing seal it makes a formidable barrier against water, mud or dust entering into the bearings of your expensive motor. Click here for instructions:

This high quality laser cut gasket will fit Brose aluminium1.2, 1.2e, 1.3, C, S , T and TF motors

This high quality laser cut gasket will fit Brose S-Mag 2.1 & 2.2 and fits between the motor and the ECU.

MOLYKOTE PG-75  High quality, German manufactured grease. Specifically designed for plastic and metal gears, as found in many ebike motors.

MOLYKOTE PG-75 Is normally only available in 1000ml tins (enough to do over 60 motors!) We now supply handy 30ml containers. These should give enough grease for at least 2 motors.

This high quality laser cut gasket will fit Brose aluminium1.2, 1.2e, 1.3, C, S , T and TF motors

MudStop sealing system was designed by VeloLab to ensure better protection for the vulnerable main motor bearing on the Bosch Active and Performance Line / CX motors.

Unlike the Bosch protection seal, MudStop completely covers the entire main motor bearing and outer casing. This stops water and contamination getting past the cover and entering the bearing.

When used with the custom made crankshaft seal, it makes your motor as protected as it always should have been

2 sprag clutch bearings are used in every Brose motor. Sprag clutch bearings allow rotation of a shaft in one direction but not the other. These bearings require lubrication to work reliably, but also rely on friction when they are required to stop rotation.

Special grease MUST be used. If a high pressure, or low friction grease like standard bearing grease, Teflon or ceramic based greases etc., the sprags will slip while under extreme load, causing a high wear rate. This can also cause the bearing to slip and grip violently causing premature failure.

This is a deliberately small pot of sprag bearing grease but still more than enough for both bearings. This grease should be applied as a thin film to the outside of the bearing and to lubricate the inner bearing race, a thin film of grease (approx 1mm thick) should be applied to the shaft that the bearing is to be fitted onto.
